Help get the Tavern into next year

Some good friends of ours here at old road have helped us start a crowdfund campaign to help us get to next year.

The plan Is to build a heated structure In the garden that will make a comfortable and safe, weather protected, heated and boothed space for enjoying a drink through winter months but also a great addition for the summer. The build will not take up our beautiful grassed garden area but take place on the already paved section by the “Community” wall.

Since first closing down at the end of March we have been so humbled by the countless offers of monetary contribution but until now have politely refused. Covid 19 has made life incredibly challenging, and pubs are no exception.

The old Road Tavern is very much a community for so many people and we are forever grateful for those that have offered their services free of charge over this year.

The new shelter will be built by volunteers but we will need to pay for the materials.
our target is £5000. Any funds leftover will also be used to make additional improvements. An out door permanent BBQ or perhaps additional booth style seating. Please feel free to make suggestions as it is OUR PUB.

We are so thankful for a strong community and continuing trade over the last months, but we realise many people have not been able to support  for concerns of safety. The future is unwritten but we are trying everything in our power to help our pub continue. 

So by popular demand here is an opportunity to contribute towards an exciting new project. Anything donated is so gratefully received and will make the pub an even better place to be!
