The aim is to fund a tow car, generator, and towing licence to get Tagliotello and its fresh pasta on the move.
Tagliotello is a new pasta business that is having a growing success in the Highlands, Inverness, but in order for it to continue to grow, it needs to get moving.

The custom DIY catering trailer lives at Bogbain Farm, on the outskirts of Inverness, but unfortunately, it does not have the flexibility to move as owner and chef Otello cannot yet afford a tow car or generator. Tagliotello has a nationally and internationally growing fanbase from TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, asking for the business to travel and visit food markets and events across the Highlands and the UK.
The customers and opportunities are there and waiting, but Tagliotello does not yet have the flexibility to go where the customers are. This campaign seeks to amend that.

The £3500 would be split between a reliable tow car, insurance, towing lessons and licence, and an efficient LPG generator ideal for catering trailers and food events.

My name is Otello, and last year I was encouraged by friends to start a food business because of the meals and lunches I would cook for us. I had never worked in a professional kitchen before, but I've been doing hospitality since I was 14-years-old, and had a love of cooking since I went to university and started cooking for myself and my friends.
I decided since I loved cooking so much to dive into it! Over the course of the last year, I came up with a plan of what I wanted to cook, how I was going to do it, and the best way to go about it. I wanted to make fresh pasta and Italian food, rustic and simple, affordable and wallet-friendly. I make everything from scratch, I use my own recipes as well as my Italian mothers. To keep my start-up costs down, I decided I was going to buy a shell of a trailer and convert it myself in a total DIY project to make a custom pasta catering trailer, rather than making do with a standard burger van. It was a challenge, and a test of will, but I managed it!
I opened on the 16th of February 2021 and have so far have been successful, but my location on the outskirts of Inverness means I have a limited customer base and exposure to new customers. I have such a diverse and wonderful fanbase online and would love to be able to travel with my food, not only around Inverness but across Scotland and eventually around the UK.

I want to be able to give back something to anyone who might donate to help my business. I'll be offering digital and physical rewards, from online cooking sessions with myself, donating a meal to a family, to a private dining experience at home. I'll be adding more as the campaign goes on and at the request of what people are interested in having!
Thank you for reading and I hope you choose to help support me and my journey!
