Aim
These funds are to keep this beautiful family stay alive while they await the boarder to open to get them out to rejoin Ahmed in India.
Ahmed and Alaa are so exhausted. Despite the ceasefire, the situation has continued to be dangerous, life threatening and surviving day to day is still their everyday. They guide their two children Ghina and Joud, babes in arms through this nightmare with the greatest of care and resilience. They need us to help them have access to fund to continue to keep themselves and most importantly the children fed. Staying alive is the short term goal, leaving Gaza when the boarders open is the mid term goal, and long term goal is for them to be safe, secure and continue their family life. Ahmed has made his way to India via his acceptance at Utkal University, to make a safe space for his family to join him when the boarder opens. Alaa, a teacher is keen to continue supporting her children and return to teaching. These beautiful children deserve to experience all the lovely things the world has to offer. It isn’t right they have only seen the absolute worst part of humankind so far. Please continue to help me to be a light in the dark for them.
