In just a few weeks, thousands of politicians, press and party members will meet in Brighton, Liverpool, Harrogate and Birmingham to discuss the issues that’ll shape our political agenda for 2023 - we need the NHS to be one of them.
The NHS is at breaking point, staff and patients are suffering and it’s only the middle of summer.
Party conferences are some of the biggest events in the political calendar. They’re unique opportunities to meet and share ideas with policymakers, party members and MPs. A chance to cut through the noise of tabloid headlines, deep dive into thorny issues in person and hear first hand how our parties plan on solving them.
Sadly there are more problems that need addressing in our NHS than ever before and we can't afford to let politicians keep making the same mistakes.
To get members of the EveryDoctor team to all 4 conferences we need to raise £5,400 asap. We’ve bought the tickets but we need to get trains and accommodation booked soon too before we run out of options.
Things are booking up fast because so many other campaign groups, charities and journalists want to attend. Will you donate today to make sure EveryDoctor can be there too?
Heading to their conferences for the first time gives EveryDoctor a new chance to raise the voices of NHS staff and patients and build relationships with people who have the power to make the changes we desperately need.
Hotel prices skyrocket during peak times like these, and most of the events happen over the weekends; so out-of-hours staff time increases our costs too.
If you can, please chip in to our party conference fund today to help EveryDoctor fight for NHS staff + patients in-person with politicians this autumn.
Please note: any funds raised over our goal amount will be used for general campaigning work advocating for NHS patients, NHS staff and the future of the NHS.
