CLUNK Magazine has been invited to the infamous SXSW in Austin, Texas. This is a rare and unique opportunity for an independent publication.
CLUNK has been around now for roughly 5 years and in that short time it has become Cornwall's premiere music blog and print zine. Whilst also expanding to be one of the fastest-growing music publications in the South-West.
Our goal was simple, we wanted to show the world just what Cornwall has to offer whilst connecting it to the national music scene of the U.K. Since our beginning, we have covered artists from across the globe, and featured festivals across the U.K, as well as hosting live music events in the heart of Cornwall, bringing artists from across the nation to play in our often-forgotten county.
2023 is shaping up to be a HECTIC and ground-breaking year for CLUNK. This can be epitomised by the invite to one of the world's largest music, tech, film, and art expos/festivals, SXSW.
This is a unique and special opportunity for CLUNK, to shed some light in the industry on the often-forgotten and underrepresented county of Cornwall. We want to act as beacons for our home, to show America and the world what we have on offer, whilst sipping on the delicacies they offer. By being at SXSW we want to represent Cornwall and the South-West.
Going to SXSW will cement CLUNK as a global brand and allow us to access some of the most important names in the music industry. Not to mention, see some of the world's brightest talent perform.
We will also be capturing a variety of content throughout our time there, which will culminate into a limited edition A4 zine and exclusive sticker bundle.
The money raised from this provided will all go towards getting the CLUNK team across the pond and into Austin.
We want to be able to be ambassadors for Cornwall on a global stage... will you help us?
