Dear friends,
We have reached the goal! On behalf of my family, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Two weeks ago, it looked like we might not reach our goal and we would not be able to challenge the Attorney General’s blatantly unlawful refusal of our application for a fresh inquest into my brother’s death.
But since then, one generous donor stepped forward with a pledge of £22,000 and a second pledge at the last minute of £5,500, another generous donor pledged £5,000, and hundreds of you also rose to the occasion to get us across the finish line.
We will be forever grateful to every single one of you who donated.
Thanks to all of you, our barrister will begin work this week. We will be aiming to persuade the Attorney General to reverse her indefensible decision on our application. And should she refuse to back down from her position, we will file for judicial review by 3rd April 2024.
Once again, thank you for helping to expose the truth about Geoff’s death and the death of thousands of others on that horrible day that changed our world forever.
