Supporting Gen Z to thrive at work, through practical workshops, and engaging employers with research and a future-ready career programme.
I’m Demi Akande, the founder of Edu Z Solutions, a social enterprise supporting Gen Z as they prepare for and navigate the changing world of work.
Through my experience in education, mentoring, law and workshop facilitation, I have seen that many young people need more than traditional employability advice. They also need support with building confidence, practical workplace skills, an understanding of healthy boundaries and the tools to protect their wellbeing while building meaningful careers.
My vision is to create a future of work in which young people feel prepared, valued and empowered to thrive, and where employers are better equipped to understand and support the next generation of talent.
Our initial £1,000 target will help us deliver the first phase of the Gen Z Future Ready Initiative, including pilot workshops, accessible resources and feedback from young people. Reaching this target will allow us to test, evaluate and strengthen the programme before expanding its reach.
