We're Ray & Amanda, from Southend-on-Sea. We built Gemsza's Marketplace because selling on Vinted, eBay, or Depop always means giving up a cut of your money — ours doesn't, and never will. List everyday items free, forever, with 0% seller fees and AI tools that write your listing for you. Alongside it sits Gemsza's Luxury Auctions, for the finds worth a proper curated sale.
eBay takes up to 13%. Vinted's fine for cheap clothes and nothing else. Traditional auction houses take 20% from sellers and 25% from buyers.
Gemsza is three things:
1. Marketplace — free forever for sellers.
List anything — clothes, homeware, everyday finds, collectibles. Choose Buy Now or Auction. Sellers keep 100% of their price, 0% commission, forever. We never hold stock — you ship straight to the buyer. (Buyers pay a small premium at checkout, like any marketplace — never the seller.)
2. Daily Auction Room.
A rotating batch of fast-moving lots — everyday finds and collectibles, same seller-first pricing.
3. Luxury Auctions — Sale No. 047 live now.
Watches, motoring, wine, art, coins & jewellery — every lot specialist-reviewed before it goes live, backed by a 14-day buyer guarantee. This is the one part of Gemsza that charges a fee, because real specialists check every lot.

AI Listing — upload photos, Gemsza writes your title, description and category. You approve before it goes live. 30 seconds, not 20 minutes.
What's It Worth — a built-in valuation tool so you never underprice.
Ad Studio — writes your listing copy for you. You approve.
Where your money actually goes:
Gemsza is live now at www.gemsza.com, with an Android app already in testing on Google Play — but we're a two-person team funding this ourselves, and £1,500 a month doesn't buy real visibility.
£15,000 — 6 months of advertising
Facebook, Instagram and Google ads across Essex and the UK, so real buyers actually find real sellers.
£8,000 — iOS app + ongoing development
The Android app is already built. This funds bringing the same AI listing tools to iOS (including the Apple Developer account) plus ongoing improvements to both apps.
£4,000 — Keep the Marketplace free, forever
A year of AI and hosting costs, so we never have to start charging sellers to break even.
£3,000 — Crowdfunder fees & rewards
If we raise £10K, we run ads for 2 months. If we hit £30K, we launch properly and the Marketplace stays free for good.
