Set up the first Geese of March themed Chocolate Gift shop/visitor hub selling fundraising merch to support community projects & charities
Help us raise funds to set up a Goose themed Chocolate & Goose Gifts visitor shop to welcome tourists who visit the town of March especially to see our celebrated geese. We aim to raise funds to support the Community, Charity, Conservation and Educational projects in the Fenland town of March.
My name is Chrissie and I have been leading on The Geese of March as an opportunity for community projects and fundraising for river bird charities. Our local gaggle of geese rose to fame after having their very own charity Calendar which raised over £5,000 for The Waterfowl Sanctuary and Sally’s Duck Rescue. Since then, There has been so much creativity and local volunteering such as a river bird hospital, goose books at the local library, wellbeing workshops and much more.
We have a small premises secured but we desperately need your help with shop signage, fittings, security and advertising.
