Affordable hypnotherapy and holistic therapies and to use virtual reality to assist with mental health and patients bucket lists
WHO I AM.
Hi my name is Gill I am 51years old and I'm a clinical support worker for the NHS. I am a single mum to 3 grown up daughters and I have 2 beautiful grandchildren. I've come up with this project because I feel it would be beneficial to local communities and organisations such as Help For Heros, hospices and many more. I also want to make my services more affordable to people who need it.

WHAT IM DOING.
I want to set up a hypnotherapy and holistic therapy business to enable me to help local communities, schools and also to do some voluntary work with Help for Heroes and people in hospices with life limiting illnesses. I want to use my hypnotherapy skills to help people with things such as mental health, pain management, addictions, fears/phobias and much more. I also want to use my other therapies such as massage, relaxation, reflexology, acupressure, reiki and aromatherapy to offer extra assistance during a therapy session. I want to be able to use all my therapeutic skills to help people that require it. I want to raise enough funds to enable me to expand on my range of services and be able to offer voluntary work to those in need. I want to be able to raise enough funds to buy a virtual reality system which has been scientifically proven to be beneficial for mental health patients and those with fears and phobias. After looking into this further I came up with the idea that I would also use it to help patients with life limiting illnesses to fulfil their bucket list by taking them on a virtual tour so they could experience places and things that they would not be able to normally. The services I can offer now are Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Reflexology, Massage, Acupressure, aromatherapy and Mental health first aid. I am currently home based or mobile. I have a range of offers and also do amazing discounts for NHS workers, emergency services and armed forces. I want to be able to do voluntary work for those that need it.

WHY ITS GREAT.
My business project is great because it is accessible for all, affordable and all my therapies complement each other. The services I currently offer are beneficial for all and give amazing results. I have made a difference to so many peoples lives so far but id love to be able to help more. I cant promise to change the world but can promise to help you change your life. This isn't just a job for me its a life long ambition to be able to help others.

HOW ITS GOING TO HAPPEN.
With your support I will be able to offer a whole lot more. I will be able to invest in a virtual reality system to offer more services and help many more people. I will be able to give people with terminal and life limiting illnesses their final wishes to be able to virtually visit and experience places they want to go and things they want to see. The virtual reality system will also help people with mental health illnesses as this has already been scientifically proven and has amazing results. With the lack of funding, resources and the long waiting lists for mental health , I know I can help make a big difference and help so many people. Clients will know they will be able to come to me in confidence and will feel so much better after therapy. I would also use the funding to enable me to do more training in other therapies and enable me to employ more therapists to expand our services to other communities and service users. I want to keep my prices affordable for all so everybody has the opportunity to benefit from one of the therapies on offer. In between my paying clients I will be able to go in to local community venues and hospitals/hospices to offer my services free of charge to be able to help people feel good. At the end of certain sessions my clients will have the opportunity to buy my relaxation or hypnosis cd. I will run monthly competitions and offers. My discounts for NHS workers, emergency services and armed forces will always be on.
