Gaza Nursery Fundraiser - Steps Team

Aim

All children deserve care and stability. This nursery can hopefully be somewhere kids in Gaza can safely eat, learn and play.

My name is Sheraton. I'm a Scottish revert, a parent, and someone who can't look away from the suffering of children in Gaza. I'm working directly with my brother Hassan to support a kindergarten that is keeping young children learning through unimaginable circumstances.

This is a message from Hassan -

"The kindergarten belongs to my friend’s mother originally. It is a place for young children in Gaza to learn, play, and take part in educational activities. Because of the difficult situation in Gaza, keeping the kindergarten running and providing the children with basic supplies has become very difficult.

The reason I want to start a separate campaign is that this is a different need from my personal fundraising. My personal campaign helps my family, while this campaign would be specifically for the kindergarten and the children who attend it. I also want everything to be transparent, so donors can clearly see what their donations are being used for.

Our development plan is to first raise enough money to cover the kindergarten’s essential needs, such as educational materials, stationery, activities, food, and other necessary expenses. After that, we would like to improve the learning environment, provide more educational and recreational activities, and gradually make the kindergarten a better and more stable place for the children.

We can provide photos, information about the kindergarten, the number of children, the teachers, and the specific needs and costs. We can also provide regular updates to donors showing how the funds are being used".

Funds will be sent in a way which is the most useful to the people running the centre. Proof will be provided and updates will be sent insha'Allah.
