Get Gash to Fringe... and beyond!!
We are Gash Theatre:
Two theatre makers with a shared interest in form, genders, pop culture, and the ridiculous.
We make Gash Theatre:
Work that pushes the boundaries of genre in order to create compelling and subversive audio-visual, groovy chaos.
By deconstructing form and reconfiguring our own gender identities, we aim to make work that is critically provocative and self-aware, technically groundbreaking yet still makes you want to boogie.
We're going to Edinburgh!
After spending the past two years making two critically acclaimed and radical digital theatre pieces, we're going live at the Edinburgh Fringe. We'll be performing with Assembly Festival from the 4th to the 27th of August with our BRAND-NEW show...
GASH THEATRE NEEDS SOME SPACE
If scum like Bezos and Branson can go to space, why can’t we? We are so excited to test the boundaries of our current work and introduce GASH back to the final frontier (live space). But we can't get there alone...
We need your help.
Honestly, we're broke and Fringe is really expensive. We've got an out-of-this world show, a stellar creative team, and we can't afford to pass up this opportunity! (but we can't afford it either lol)
But where will my hard-earned pennies go?
To making our silly dreams a reality, of course! And also to pay: venue costs, marketing fees, buy fun cute silly sexy costumes, and make lots of gloopy aliens.
We couldn't be more grateful for the support of our wonderful Gash-aholics and anything you can give would be beyond appreciated.
All jokes aside, we really care about this project and would love for you to all be able to see it come to life (very graphically) (kind of like the bit in Alien where it bursts out of that guy's chest).
