Gary and Fred abseiling off the i360

Aim

Gary and Fred are abseiling off of the i360 to raise money to send some of BTTC's juniors on residential training camps this summer.

On Sunday the 28th June at 7am, BTTC Legends Gary Vidgeon and Fred Sturgis will be abseiling from the i360. The minibus will be taking people down from the BTTC in Kemptown for spectators to watch and get coffee and food while the event takes place. Thanks to the Focus Foundation for this opportunity for some great local charities.

They are raising money to help send some of our young players on a number of table tennis camps this summer, including Teresa who is taking 8 girls to the the nationally renowned Cooke and Deaton in Grantham. We know that these trips create memories for life.

We have an unprecedented number of young players who are achieving wonderful things at the club, locally, nationally and internationally.

Given our commitment to supporting everyone, whatever their situation or economic background, we subsidise costs to ensure no talent is left behind. We are finding the amount of subsidy needed now is increasing massively because of the pool of talent the club has gathered.
