Help Us Build the Future of Tiger Community Enterprise
Tiger want you to help keep our busy community cafe and sewing projects running for the next few months at All Souls Community Centre in Radford, whilst we build a war chest for taking on a future larger premises by donating to our crowdfund.
For nearly 12 years, Tiger Community Enterprise CIC has been driven by one goal: bringing people together to make a difference — for each other and the planet.
From sewing scrubs for NHS workers during COVID to running our vibrant Community Hub in Nottingham City Centre, everything we do has been rooted in community, sustainability, and kindness.
We’ve come a long way, and now we’re ready to take the next big step.
Our Present: Supporting the Community Daily
For the last year, we’ve been based at All Souls Community Centre, continuing to deliver projects that make a real impact:
Tiger Eats rescues food and turns it into delicious, chilled meals for the community, including our Tiger Community Café, Trent Dementia, and Lego Church.
Tiger Green Textiles brings people together through sewing, using donated and recycled materials. Recently, we donated drain bags and heart cushions to the City Hospital.
The SuPer Project educates, reduces period poverty, and gives away reusable menstrual pads, all thanks to amazing volunteers.
Our Future: A Permanent Home and a Bigger Impact
We’re currently in talks to take over a large building in Nottingham. This will be a game-changer.
We’ll finally have a space where we can:
Become financially sustainable
Create new jobs and training opportunities
Support more people through our projects
Support the planet by inspiring people to make simple changes to combat climate change
Offer a welcoming hub where everyone can feel at home
Our new space will be a hive of activity, filled with warmth, laughter, and purpose. Whether it’s attending an event, learning a new skill, or simply popping in for a brew, it’ll be a place where you belong.
We Need You to Make It Happen
This new chapter isn’t just ours — it’s yours.
Here’s how you can help:
1. Volunteer
We need people on the ground to help us move, decorate, host, and more. Whether it’s an hour a month or a few days a week, every bit helps.
Volunteering can give you valuable experience, boost your mental wellbeing, and connect you with wonderful people. Our volunteers often tell us it’s one of the best things they’ve ever done.
2. Donate
We’re raising funds to:
Cover our running costs so our current projects can continue
Fund renovations for the new space (materials, equipment, skilled tradespeople)
Support our volunteers with travel and expenses
Pay for staff to help manage this transition smoothly
Put money aside for the new rent while we build momentum
Even a small donation goes a long way. During COVID, hundreds of people made a little difference that added up to 33,000 items donated. Let’s do it again—together.
3. Fundraise
Bring some fun into fundraising! Got an idea? Let us know—we’ll support you all the way. Toni and Mel have already committed to a sponsored walk in the Peak District.
What could you do? A bake sale? A quiz night? A birthday fundraiser?
4. Share Our Story
Help us reach more people. Tell your friends, share our posts, talk about us at work or school. The more people who hear about what we do, the faster we can build something amazing.
Follow our journey as we move into our new home, transform it, and open our doors to the community.
Together, we can create a space where everyone feels safe, supported, and inspired.
Let’s build it, for all of us.
With love and Tiger stripes
