Funeral expenses (attendance)

Aim

Help to attend my mum's funeral. Transport for disability. Black shirt and tie. Flowers.

My mum passed away suddenly.  Unfortunately my brother and I were split up as children.  He lived with mum and I lived with dad.  As such my brother is arranging our mum's funeral.  All the same I would like to pay my last respects. I have a long term health disability and I need door to door transport, some appropriate attire and I would like to at least leave a nice bouquet with her.  I have turned to the dwp for help as I am on Universal Credit but they have told me they are unable to help and my next payment isnt until 17/05/21.  The funeral is on Wednesday 5th May and as it is now a bank holiday weekend I am fast running out of options. I know that everyone is in a bad financial position due to Covid but I would be greatful if anyone can help me with this cost. With regards. Nick.
