About Action for Children
We help disadvantaged children across the UK, from before they are born until they are into their twenties We help them through fostering or adoption – and by intervening early to stop neglect and abuse. We make life better for disabled children and we influence policy and advocate for change.

About Ashington Life Centre
Ashington Life Centre provides vital help and support to some of the most vulnerable people in the surrounding area. We have huge numbers of people using our services every week and these numbers continue to increase week on week as more people become affected by the current cost of living and fuel crisis. Our facilities and services are being used by people of all ages - from school children to pensioners.
