Fundraisers to go towards well needed club minibus

Alloa Boxing Club was founded in 1992 by Gibby Turnbull . Over the years the club has produced an array of champions .

The club have competitors entered at national championships every single year, at every level and every age group, from beginner to open class elite . From schoolboy/girl to adults.

The classes are inclusive and welcome to all , we have people who come along just to lose weight. People who come along just to learn some discipline. People who come along to learn how to box but with no intention of competing and just general keep fitters. We have had on numerous occasions , individuals who have came along with no intention of ever competing, fall in love with the sport and end up going on to be very successful.

The club is a registered charity and over the years has supported various sections of the local community including vulnerable children, vulnerable adults, refugees & victims of domestic violence amongst a range of others.

Next season we aim to continue the success of previous years and produce more champions.  

We want to ensure our boxers are as active as can possibly be , by competing at as many shows around the country as possible and travelling to as many other clubs for sparring as possible.

To assist with this we are aiming to raise money for a means of travel for numerous boxers at one time, ideally a small minibus for commuting to other clubs gyms and shows as well as national championships

In July  few of the members are undertaking an audacious task of climbing the 3 highest mountain peaks in the UK , within the space of 24 hours . 

The following week some other members will be doing a half marathon wearing a kilt.
