Sila Delicias Funding to support New Business

Aim

The aim is to raise Money for my new business. I have opened a Portuguese Grocery store. Which I think people would love in the denton area.

Hi My name is Sara I used to work to in Human Resources before the Pandemic after losing my Job due to cuts. I have always wanted to open my own business but the pandemic made Take a closer step. I Started to think of something that when the whole world is closed off what do people still need and want and even brings then closer to together. During the Pandemic the only thing to really do was to go food shopping it was the highlight of the week and what everyone looked forward to the most.  I am originally from Angolan a Portuguese speaking country in the south of Africa. I speak fluent Portuguese and have also loved the my own food and cooking and while everything was closed off all supermarket and essentials shops where all still allowed to be open. As a family of 4 Me my husband and my two kids would do a lot cooking together different recipes from different countries and that brought us closer together and I know this was a difficult time for all. 

I came up with he idea to open a Portuguese grocery/cafe I wanted to bring a Taste of Portugal to Manchester and with only one 1 other Shop proving the same thing in the city of Manchester the idea was Great. I wanted to bring my culture to Manchester. I named the shop Sila Delicias after my Mum that passed away. 

I hope to use the money to expand  and Grow  my business and bring the community together with the taste of Portugal and Angola.
