Funding Girls cricket coaching at H&E school
Bishop's Stortford, England, United Kingdom
Aim
I want to increase participation of state educated girls in Cricket and will start with funding coached sessions and Herts & Essex.
Girls cricket is growing fast but is largely fueled by daughters or sisters of cricketers or Independently schooled girls. I want to increase the number of state educated girls playing cricket by funding both coached sessions in the short term but if we can get the funds, by funding teachers to have cricket coaching qualifications in the longer term.
If we start with Herts and Essex school, Bishop's Stortford, I hope we can grow to other schools as soon as possible.
We have the coach already we just need to fund their sessions from now on, following the initial funding from Hertfordshire cricket running out.
