We make Cushions, Tote Bags, Pencil Cases, Tablet Cases and Cosmetics Bags. Ranges include Gothic, Science/Academic and Pets. Also Gift Stationery. Our Birthday Love Coupons Book have been NOMINATED for Gift of the Year 2020! Quality Handmade UK products, made in a small studio space in Wolverhampton by Marcia and helped by her sisters Bev and Mervelin.
Our Science range
Our science range of items create endless opportunities for learning about science through play and are suitable for primary upwards that are designed to boost different aspects of development. Our STEM items engage young people in a world of science and learning, it’s possible to surround your children with all they need to become the next Einstein! For example, our Periodic Table print Cushions, Totes, Pencil Cases and Wrapping Paper celebrate the 150th anniversary of the publication of Mendeleev’s Periodic Table of Chemical Elements.
Our Charity work
With your help we can continue to give away more Periodic Table Cushions. Each quarter our website would give away a Periodic Table Print Cushion. Our Facebook and Twitter page @Melbournegifts gives away a Periodic Table Cushion during Science Week. With the money raised with the Schools Reward, we can create and send out a Schools package. Five Periodic Table Pencil Cases, five Periodic Table Cushions and Tote Bags bundle for children to have fun with science.
Our future
For us to grow our collection and become a sustainable business, we need to a larger workshop and specialist machinery.
We also would like the opportunity to exhibit at New Scientist Live.
The minimum amount we need is £1000 to invest in a specialist Ironing System and set up a larger workshop space. If we hit £5,000 we will be able to start more ranges, such as printed Cushions and Notebooks featuring female scientists. The more we raise, the more freedom we will have to buy additional equipment that'll give the business room to grow.
By the end of 2020, we'd like to have the workshop running smoothly and have an exhibition at New Scientist Live. New Scientist Live is the most exhilarating place on the planet for all those curious about science. By the following year, we're aiming to make a greater variety of items bringing more choice to our community of science followers. The year after that, it's our ambition to make all of our textile items using organic cotton and cushion fillers. As part of our commitment to be sustainability and raise awareness, we will able to promote our online petition.
