Frontline.Live empowers communities in crisis by harnessing the collective power of an open-source platform. Through crowd-sourced awareness, communication, and targeted aid, we deliver faster and more effective responses during emergencies. Built by volunteers during the PPE shortage, our platform delivered over half a million donated items to frontline workers. In the past two years, we've forged a network of partners and beneficiaries, enabling us to deliver 38 HGVs filled with essential domestic and medical equipment to frontline charities in Ukraine – to get to the people often overlooked by the big charities Every penny you donate directly impacts lives. 1Frontline Live is a charity that has developed a tried, tested, and improved triple award-winning, hyper scalable, decentralised disruptive model and open source technology platform that can step in when supply chains break and where other humanitarian aid organisations don't reach. We have shown that more agile, accountable user-centric ways are both possible and preferable.
It is now crowdfunding and crowdsourcing against the real-time humanitarian needs of registered charities in Ukraine.
The platform and approach:
- Were brought to life, and tested in the field, helping to get PPE to frontline health care workers, and generating measurable impact
- Were forged by a distributed network of passionate volunteers
- Empowered people in need to make supply shortages known, in a secure and transparent manner
- Engaged people/organisations (non-traditional suppliers) who wanted to help, but didn’t know how.
- Brought the above together to match and meet domestic and medical needs in a timely manner
