FRITWELL VILLAGE HALL

We need your help!

The hub of our community is coming to the end of its life. Built some 70 years ago the village hall in Fritwell is feeling its age and showing a significant level of deterioration. We need to replace it before it becomes unusable.  To do this we need to raise £600,000

The hall holds a special place in the heart of Fritwell. It’s where we come together to celebrate special personal occasions, and the major events in national life. The place where we socialise, play and exercise both our bodies and our minds. The place where the community spirit that built the hall originally 70 years ago still burns brightly.

It’s important to Fritwell to replace this building so that our community can continue to thrive. We need this space to support wider social and environmental projects, such as the community fridge, open gardens, and the village clean-up, so that we can help combat loneliness and social isolation. We need this space so that we can promote healthy lifestyles by providing activity classes both indoors and out. We need this space so that we can encourage creativity and culture with events from the annual Flower Show to the regular ‘Live music nights’ A community hub for the elderly, parents, and toddlers, and all in between, to come to and take part.

Together we can make an enormous difference to keeping our community hub alive.

Thank you for your donation and support! Please share our fundraising challenge with your friends and family, and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions

Dear All, I normally send a donation to the Salvation Army after I complete dry January. However this year I have decide to support your wonderful village Hall. I have been lucky to be part of Dave Bradley’s band and spent some fantastic times in your hall. All the best Pete Cubitt
