Fund a mobile accessible toilet for the Edinburgh Fringe so people with disabilities can participate in the Arts.

More money will mean the charity can pay for more marketing so more event organisers book them and then we all get a more inclusive society.

I have a walking show in this year's Edinburgh Fringe and I designed the route around mobiloo who are usually near Bristo Square so that people who use wheelchairs and wanted to come to "Viva Your Vulva" would have toilet access.

Budget constraints meant that mobiloo was not funded for this year's Fringe.

Mobiloo is a fully accessible toilet in a truck.  It has a lift, a hoist, an adult changing table and nice, helpful people.  They provide toileting for people with disabilities at festivals and events, or anywhere they can park up and are usually at Edinburgh University's Appleton Tower at Crichton St, off Bristo Square.

Arts Are For All - so, when mobiloo said they had capacity to come to Edinburgh on the weekend of 21st/22nd August I booked them.

I'd like to raise enough money to fund that weekend, and also to pay for the repairs needed to one of their units after it was stolen yesterday.  Happily, Jose the mobiloo was recovered today, but it has been damaged.  These units are fantastic resources and make the difference between people who use wheelchairs being able to get out and participate in festivals and events, or not.  They are incredibly valuable, beyond their running costs - these units are what inclusion looks like.

I need two things - money and publicity.  There is no point in bringing mobiloo up if people don't know it's coming.  Can you help with cold, hard cash, or do you have a way of spreading the word so that those who would make use of a mobiloo can plan a trip to Edinburgh and book the shows they want to see?

Pee, poo, toilets and access are things I think about most of the time - I'm a pelvic health physiotherapist and I am obsessive about improving people's knowledge about their own bodies.  The Urinary Leash used to keep women at home until public toilets were established in Victorian times and I really don't want to see facilities being lost - pish is not a fringe issue.

All help and donations gratefully received, thanks!
