We are a registered charity who work to provide additional funds to support the education and wellbeing of all pupils at Merriott Primary School.
We run fundraising events throughout the year to help support the school in many different areas. This is vital as it helps all students whether it be supplying educational resources, subsidising trips, or contributing to larger development projects.
Our funds help the school to grow each child’s experiences, knowledge and wellbeing during their time at school which makes it more enjoyable and fun for all!
Here are some examples of ways we have helped the school:
- Supplementing the costs of coaches for transport
- Reducing school trip costs for pupils/parents
- Class supplies i.e. specialised books or equipment for that class
- Token gifts for students at the end of KS1 and KS2
- Reference books for English
- Playtime games and equipment
- Musical instruments and workshops
- After school club resources
- Forest school resources
