Aim
We aim to repair, maintain and elevate our community skatepark. Our project will fund urgent maintenance work and development of the park.
Who are we?
We are a diverse group of volunteers from Horsforth and the Leeds skate community. We have come together with one aim- to maintain, protect and develop the amazing skatepark we have in Horsforth for now and for future generations!
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are privileged to have one of the best concrete parks in the north of England here in Horsforth. It is however very challenging for beginners/younger skateboarders to learn on and parts of the park are in need of repairs and maintenance. We want to act now to start maintaining the park before it becomes dilapidated. Plus we also want to develop the space we have to introduce some more beginner friendly obstacles. Ultimately our aim is to care for the park and to develop the space to inspire the future generation of local skateboarders.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The money raised here will fund:
- The building of beginner/improver friendly obstacles in the park on the current flatground/DIY space
- Repairs to the existing bowls to maintain skate-abiilty of the park (e.g. filling cracks, coping and fire damage repairs)
- Improvements to the park to create a safe and welcoming environment for younger users (new signage, offensive graffiti remediation, better landscaping)
Works will be carried out for free by our skilled set of volunteers to ensure that the money raised goes as far as it can towards achieving these aims.
Community impact
Our aim here is to develop this amazing facility for people of Horsforth and Leeds. We want to see Horsforth skatepark at the centre of a thriving skateboard community.
We are part of the Friends of Horsforth Hall Park group. This is our parent charity and this is where your donations will go to. By being part of this well established group we can ensure that the money you donate is used effectively to further our joint aim of improving Hall Park for the benefit of our whole community.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Skate the park. Come to our events, enjoy our new obstacles, treat it with respect and follow the skatepark guidelines.
2. Spread the word. Share our project by word of mouth and on your social media pages to get the Horsforth community and skaters of Leeds behind us!
3. Sponsor us. If you are a local business or a skate brand who would like to sponsor our next event, get in touch.
4. Donate. If you love what we’re doing and want to see us improve the park further, donate what you can.
