With any extra funding we receive from donations we'll be able to expand our Warm Space service to include further locations, helping even more local residents stay warm this winter. We'll also be able to offer members of the community, using our Warm Spaces the opportunity to take home items to help support and keep them warm at home, including FREE flasks, hot water bottles, blankets, gloves and socks. We will also be producing our own booklet of helpful advice to help save money and keep warm.
Help Friendly Faces of Kent to offer a welcoming and warm, safe space to the local communities in Teynham and the surrounding areas, and to residents on the Isle of Sheppey, this Winter. Where people can come together to re connect, find friendship, activities and support, over the cold months. With a hot lunch, refreshments and Wi-Fi all offered FREE of charge to anyone over 18.
Friendly Faces of Kent is a dedicated, welcoming and approachable charity, supporting adults experiencing the effects of loneliness and isolation - we believe that by providing our members with friendship, inclusion, encouragement and an arena to be heard, we will be able to make a vast difference to their lives.
We supports adults through a group centred approach, offering a range of innovative and high quality Group sessions, walks and activities to promote and encourage our members to reconnect with their wider community. Delivered by professionals, support workers and volunteers, who together have their own experiences of isolation and loneliness.
