Garden Help For Free - Elderly In Need

Hi

We are a bunch of men no longer playing football on the weekends (too old) and now give up our time helping others in the community that through no reason of their own struggle from time to time.

We help elderly people living local to us. We already help out doing odd jobs but find there is a growing demand for garden help. In order to expand my FREE help to the elderly we need to purchase more equipment. Lawn mower, hedge trimmer, chainsaw, shredder and other bits and bobs. These need to be petrol as we will be working in many different peoples homes.

Many elderly suffer from illness, disability, regular hospital visits and just need a help in hand now and again. Not being able to move very far away from their property, their garden provides a much needed area for relaxation. Its costly to use professional gardeners for the basics of mowing a lawn, trimming a hedge or painting a fence etc. Many on basic pensions having worked hard all their lives simply can't afford it and we will help them for FREE. We have also arranged for any large amount of garden waste to be tipped free of charge at a local farm.

We can't help everyone but every little helps and the more money raised, the more we can do. Over time a website will be set up and show how your money was well spent.

We not making money out of this as our services are completely free and therefore the only rewards is our thanks and the thanks of elderly people within the community.

Please help and lets have some community spirit again, where people respect the elderly and give a helping hand to those in need.
