Aim

To bring a photographic exhibition to the coffee shops of Edinburgh, Scotland. The exhibit comprises portraits, macro, alternative process and also abstract, with a couple of cityscapes thrown in. The project is not for profit and funding goes directly towards printing, mounting and framing.

Five years ago I picked up a camera for the first time. I fell in love with the medium and it has been my passion ever since. I work as a hairdresser by day and in my free time I immerse myself in artistic projects because I have a mind flowing with ideas, images, scenes and sounds. I guess you could call it my safety valve.

My previous projects have included an animated film for the International '48hr film competition', which i won best editing in the Edinburgh heat, an album of original songs one of which made it onto the cover of Sound on Sound magazine, and an art exhibition called 'Veil of Tears' which was in my own self created gallery space in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

I still have more ideas, more images, more film and more sounds inside me that I would like to share, and the next phase of getting there is to showcase my photography. I really want to put my name out there to encourage more investment in my ideas, whether that investment be collaboration, press, resources or anything else I can get my hands on.

I need funding so that I can print, mount and frame my images.

My ultimate goal is to make a non-profit independent film and showing people the way I see is another step towards that goal.

Please help me! I genuinely would like Edinburgh to enjoy the images Ilove to make so much.

Frederick
