Frampton Fire, girls youth team, are hiking to the summit of Sugar Loaf on 19th July, to raise money to support the launch of their new team
Frampton Fire are an under 9's girls football team who are newly established.
Frampton Fire started playing friendlies last year, they've grown as a team already, and are very exited to be joining the league this summer!
The team are very passionate about playing football. They have already come a long way, developing new skills, building confidence, making new friendships and just enjoying being part of a positive, supportive team environment.
To raise money for the team, they are hiking to the summit of Sugar Loaf (1,955 feet) in the beautiful Brecon Beacons on Sunday 19th July.
Thank you for helping us kick-start this exiting new journey and giving our young players the opportunity to thrive.
As a newly established team, we are starting from scratch and need support to give our players the best possible experience. We are raising funds to help cover essential costs involved in setting up and running the team, such as training equipment and kits.
Football offers far more than just the opportunity to learn a sport. For girls under the age of nine, taking part in football can have a lasting positive impact on their physical health, confidence, social development, and overall wellbeing.
We're incredibly grateful for any support you can offer, whether that's making a donation or simply sharing our fundraising page with friends, family and local businesses.
If you are a local business, and would like to donate a larger amount, we can list you as a sponsor on our club wide platform - do get in touch!
Money raised will go towards getting the team launched into the league by the end of the summer.
This will include:
Training equipment and supplies, match and training kits, footballs, cones, bibs and goals, league registration and match fees, marketing and recruitment materials, team development and coaching resources.
By supporting our team, you're not just funding football equipment, you're investing in young girls, encouraging healthy lifestyles, promoting team work, and helping create lasting memories both on and off the pitch.
Girls' grassroots football has never been more important, and there has never been a better time for young girls to get involved in the game.
The growth of girls' football in recent years has been remarkable. Record-breaking crowds, increased television coverage, and the success of major tournaments have inspired a new generation of young players. More girls than ever before are joining local clubs, school teams, and community programmes, helping to make football one of the fastest-growing sports for young females.
As the women's game continues to grow, supporting girls' grassroots football today will help ensure that the future of the sport is stronger, more inclusive, and more successful than ever before.
Together, we can help the next generation of girls football flourish.
