Aim
We are looking to improve and develop the outdoor facilities at our village primary school, for the benefit of all year groups
Furneux Pelham School Association has, in past years, successfully arranged many fundraising acvitivies over the school year to raise funds to support extra curricular events and equipment for the children in our village primary school. Covid-19 has prevented us from running any of our major fundraisers and we have been unable to finance any large projects. Covid-19 has made us all more aware than ever of the importance of being outside, both physically and mentally, and to this end we are aiming to support the school in its development of the outside area. We aim to make improvements over the summer holidays so it is there for the children to enjoy when they return to school in September.
A climbing wall with a safety surface underneath is just one of the additions to the outside area, alongside enhancing the outdoor area of the Early Years and outdoor learning facilities across the school year groups.
