Fox Lodge aims to develop cricket in the local community and increase participation of both boys & girls by providing quality youth programs

Fox Lodge is a big part of the local community and also home to the Brighter Ballymagorry Community Group who do a lot of good work in the village. Our last few years have been the most difficult in the clubs history. Covid-19 has greatly impacted both our playing numbers and income streams. We are a Sports NI Club Mark accredited club and have a volunteer team who are dedicated and skilled to improve every aspect of the club. We are a family and community club open to all new members.

Fox Lodge aim to grow numbers at the club by expanding on our current youth programs. We will offer kids of all ages (5 and above) the chance to come a long and be introduced to cricket by qualified coaches in a fun and safe environment.
In 2022 thank to Sport NI and Crowdfunder donations we started a new participation project which was aimed at increasing the youth numbers at the club. We successfully completed this project and have been able to add a new U15 team which we haven't been able to do for a while
In 2023 we are looking to ramp up on the back of a successful 2022 and add some new all girls teams starting with an U11 side.
Program of activities to include:
New coaching sessions introduced weekly for girls and boys, to include fun cricket sessions and fun physical sessions on all the cricketing basics
The increased financial support from Crowdfunder will help support securing fully qualified coaches, purchase new equipment needed to provide quality youth programs and ultimately help us in the quest to increase the number to boys and girls we have participating in the North West Cricket competitions. Including our first all girls youth team.
Sport Northern Ireland Project Re-Boot: Activate has provided £5,000 of match funding
This project successfully funded on 28th July 2022
