We're still collecting donations
On the 12th April 2024 we'd raised £490 with 7 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Our society is built upon foundations of Education, Welfare and Healthcare. The people working in these sectors are on the edge of burn out and in some cases, completely burned out! They are on their knees! They need our help and support!
We are a group of volunteers whom have got together to form the non-profit organisation Āyā - Awaken Your Awareness, specifically to run charitable, community-based projects.
The Foundations of our Society Project gives a life line of support to essential people/workers/staff by running free, yearly, back-to-back well-being education programmes of self-care, run by qualified professionals in many different fields.
Our self-healing programmes contain the tools to create positive health and well-being applied with a long-term approach, working on the following goals:
Our system of self-care uses the Āyā Healing Pyramid method which separates out all the natural layers of human health and well-being, and integrates different practical self-healing techniques into daily life, to keep each layer healthy. For example:
Self-Healing (self-care) is not a cure for disease. It is a method of living well. But over the long-term, often has the effect of keeping ill-health away.

Why are we asking for money?
Our volunteer team at Āyā are passionate about providing free self-care, healing and well-being to all essential workers in Education, Welfare and Healthcare. We have already been working closely with local Cornish organisations, to educate essential workers with the importance of maintaining their own health and wellbeing, so in turn they can support people in these essential sectors. To date this project has been fully funded by the Āyā volunteer team but now WE NEED YOUR HELP! The need for our project to grow is so great that we can no longer fund our future plans ourselves. We want to educate and empower as many people as possible to heal themselves through the techniques we provide. So for this to happen it’s time for the Āyā network to grow and we need your help to do this. It’s our vision that this education will continue to be provided for free, however your donation will help us pay for essential running costs and awareness raising to help us reach national level eventually.
Would you like to be part of our journey?
If you would like to help us in our mission, we appreciate any donations whatsoever. The names of any major donors of over £500 will be automatically added (if you wish) to our published 'Supporters of Society' SOS list of early contributors. We hope that you will become part of our journey and perhaps keep contributing every year, and watch our teams grow, and who knows, perhaps become involved yourself!
What will your donations pay for?
Many of us at Āyā work full-time on this project, but our time is free. There are operational costs, however, to run a programme of this nature and your generous donations will allow us to continue supporting essential people. Below is a summary of current operational costs.
If the donations manage to go beyond our current target, any extra will go towards the following:

What does it mean to be an educator? Education is one of the foundations of our society. It provides a framework that allows for our forward progression as a whole.
A day in the life of an educator can be stressful, tiring, energy-depleting, but also should be rewarding, inspiring and enjoyable as well.
We believe that we need to take very good care of the people working in this sector, for they are looking after the future generations and, therefore, the foundations beneath our feet.
But who is looking after the well-being of teachers and educators?
At Āyā, we believe that people need to be able to take care of themselves, but to be able do this over the long-term, they need to be given the tools in self-care and well-being, to complete the job.
That is why we are providing free well-being (self-healing) training for all those essential people working in this field. The training includes many different self-healing practical techniques that can be integrated into their daily life to improve levels of happiness, enthusiasm, boost energy levels, increase inner-peace and generally increase their levels of Health and Well-being over the long-term.
Welfare is another foundation of our society. The art of people living together in a peaceful and fair manner depends upon the welfare of the people in question. Welfare means how the society takes care of the living standards of its people.
Welfare can be divided into many different categories for example: Governance, Emergency Services, Public Safety, Housing, Financial Welfare etc.
We have already started working with staff and residents of local charities for the homeless and plan to offer our free services to other organisations as we grow our project.
You would be pushed to find a more important foundation to any society than Healthcare. Increasing and maintaining public Health and Well-being must be an absolute priority. A society is only as healthy as its inhabitants.
Staff members working in this sector work extremely hard with long hours, shrinking budgets, staff shortages and many other challenges. Health and Social Care Staff work all day and night helping other people.
But who is looking after the Health and Social Care Staff?
We believe that the best way for people to be ‘well’ over the long-term is self-care. But it can be difficult to know where to start. This is why we offer our services for free to all Health and Social Care Staff to give them the training needed to be able to increase their own personal well-being dramatically, no matter what their personal circumstances, or state of health.
The Foundation of Society Project is a programme created and delivered by the non-profit organisation Āyā - Awaken Your Awareness.
Āyā is dedicated to promoting, delivering, and teaching natural forms of healing and in particular, self-healing practical techniques. We are volunteers and we offer all of our services completely free to the public.
We have 7 departments ranging over many sectors. We are only just at the start of our journey. If you would like support our causes, or to get involved in any of our projects, drop us a line!
