FOUNDATION FOOTBALL ACADEMY

Aim

To purchase new equipment to provide activities for people within the community and help support children within the community

We are a community sports social enterprise that prides itself in bringing fun and passion into fitness. Our aim is to use our knowledge of football and coach children from all backgrounds, whilst working on confidence building, social skills and self development. We have an increasing number of children who attend our sessions; some of whom live with conditions such as ADHD, Autism and low self esteem. We encourage our children to grow as individuals and they have all formed excellent friendships with each other, despite all of their differences in personalities and backgrounds. Our academy has a welcoming family feel and it is something that shines through with the children that attend. It is important to us that all children are given the opportunity to take part in, and enjoy football irrespective of their ability or disability. Our development training takes part outside as it is known that children better from nature connectedness within a sporting environment. We are also launching indoor football development with Derby Arena, which will be our host venue for this activity.

Alongside our child develpment programme, we are branching out into community sports for adults. We are crowdfunding so that we can purchase the equipment to kick start this.  We want to introduce Bubble Football, which brings fun and laughter to people from all walks of life and it can be booked on an individual or group basis for both cooporate and non cooporate members of the community.

This project successfully funded on 23rd September 2017
