"Help me become a Forest School Teacher! With support, I'll inspire children to love nature. Let's create unforgettable learning adventure.

by Daves forest school dreams in Tonbridge, England, United Kingdom

"Hello everyone,

I'm here to share my journey of juggling stay-at-home fatherhood, building a career in forest schooling, and nurturing my passion for coffee. It's a balancing act that I've embraced with enthusiasm and gusto.

Starting from my conservatory with just a domestic coffee roasting machine, I ventured into the world of coffee business. As demand grew, so did the need for assistance in roasting. While managing this, I also supported my wife's career in the NHS by taking on household chores and being the primary caregiver for our two girls.

But my commitment didn't stop there. As my children attended school, I actively engaged in parent groups and volunteered with forest schools. These experiences reignited my connection to nature, reminding me of the joy I found in my upbringing as a gamekeeper's son. Whether it was building fairy villages by streams, carving boats from old wood, or exploring wildlife on hikes, the forest became my classroom.

Now, I'm seeking your support to embark on an educational course that will enhance my skills in forest schooling. This course will not only deepen my understanding of nature-based education but also allow me to contribute more meaningfully to my community.

Your contribution will not only help me pursue my passion but also empower me to create a positive impact on the lives of children and families through education. Together, let's dive into this journey of learning and growth with renewed vigor.

In my journey to become a certified Forest School Leader! With your support the funds will support the fees for the government-accredited courses. The journey begins with Forest School First Aid at £195, followed by Level 1 Forest School training at £995, culminating in a comprehensive 8-day course. Your contribution will not only cover the course fees but also assist with travel costs to Shorne Woods Country Park, Gravesend Kent, where the training takes place. With a target of £3000, your generosity will help me realize my dream of empowering children through nature-based education. Let's make a difference together
