Help us raise £5000 whilst we attempt 3 World Records!

Foodsave CIC is a local not-for-profit organisation focused on creating zero-food waste communities. This Christmas, we are fundraising to continue our work with a twist - we're also attempting to get into the record books with our marathon Bowls-athon!

Over the course of 66 hours, from Saturday 2nd December to Tuesday 5th December, we will be running a continuous bowls match across two locations - Seaton Bowls Club and Beer Mariners' Hall, Devon. The game will involved experienced bowlers from both bowling clubs, as well as supporters with little or no previous experience.

Two teams will compete in continuous indoor short mat bowling across 4 days and 3 nights. Scores for the teams will accrue over the duration of the challenge. The final results will be announced at the end of the challenge in Beer Mariners' Hall, with the Foodsave Christmas Challenge Cup being presented to the winning team.

The record attempt is aiming to break 3 World Records surrounding indoor bowls: the longest duration of indoor bowling, the longest short mat bowling match, and the most individuals involved in a single indoor bowling match.

With your support, as well as the support of our business community, we will be able to ensure the continued success of Foodsave in its work across Devon. With 3 new community fridges opening in the weeks following the event, 100% of all money raised will go directly towards continuing this work and reducing even more food waste across communities.
