Aim: We are raising money to ensure we can continue to support those in our community who struggle with food insecurity over winter!

Who are we?

Ignite Life is a youth charity with a community food bank which supports those in our community facing food insecurity!

The Ignite food bank is a 'no referral' needed food support service to reduce stigma, increase accessibility, and create a safe space.

Our food bank not only supports those in food poverty, but also provides supported volunteer programmes for the isolated young people we support to help provide work based experience and social skills.

Impact

We support some of the most vulnerable people in our community with essential food support.

On average,  we support around 150 people with food per week, this includes families, single parent households, those with disabilities, refugees, young people, the elderly and more.

We also deliver weekly food parcels to families who can't access our food bank due to transport barriers.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are crowdfunding to ensure we can continue our support over the upcoming challenging winter months.

We are already starting to face challenges with increase in demand and struggling with our stock levels, therefore, we are predicting that winter will be extremely tough.

How we’ll spend the money raised

This money raised will go towards the overall running costs of our food bank, sourcing more food  to give out to families in need, and recruit more volunteers!
