SISTERS: Annie Lennox and Friends
A host of incredible female artists will be joining the stage alongside Annie Lennox, including Celeste, Ríoghnach Connolly, and Nadine Shah. Photographer and activist, Misan Harriman will be a special guest speaker and acclaimed broadcaster Clara Amfo will host the exclusive concert. More special guests will make a surprise appearance on the night.
The special fundraising concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall, aims to support women and girls facing violence and injustice across the world. Marking Annie Lennox’s first headline show in the UK since 2019, the concert will come two days ahead of International Women’s Day, and during Women’s History Month.
The Circle is a global feminist organisation, founded by singer-songwriter and activist Annie Lennox and other leading women. The Circle is committed to standing in solidarity and action with women facing violence and injustice across the world. Together, as sisters and allies, we strive for a safer and fairer world for women everywhere.
Annie Lennox says: "I’m absolutely delighted to announce the line-up of artists, speakers and special guests taking part in The Circle’s inaugural SISTERS event!
"It’s been amazing to have so many of my favourite artists answering the call to support The Circle's mission of empowering women and girls globally. The fact that tickets sold out in minutes, has been life affirming, especially as I recently celebrated my 70th year on the planet!
"I’m thrilled we can still offer a chance to attend, via the For One Night Only prize draw, which includes access to the show and my soundcheck. The money raised will help support some of the world’s most marginalised women and girls. As women’s rights are being rolled back, the need has never been greater."
For One Night Only launched in 2022, with Ed Sheeran performing at the inaugural event in London’s Union Chapel.
