A Christmas Day event for care-experienced young people 18-25 years who may otherwise be alone at Christmas.
The Christmas Dinner Folkestone is a volunteer-run community event providing a family-feel Christmas Day event for care-experienced young people aged 18-25 years who may otherwise be alone at Christmas.
2025 will be our fifth year running, catering for up to 50 guests to offer a wonderful social Christmas Day in a festive East Kent venue. We provide transport to and from the event, an indulgent shared meal, games, entertainment, music, personalised gifts, and hampers of food for our guests to enjoy throughout the Christmas period.
Our event is possible through fundraising and donations from our wonderful local community and businesses. The support we recieve enables us to make this event something really special for our young guests and it is so loved that some return year on year to spend their Christmas with us!
