We empower every community to take control and improve their physical health and mental well-being by getting active for free.
FREEMOOVEMENT - Prioritising health through the Cost-of-Living Crisis.

OUR VISION
We want every community to be able to take control and responsibility for improving their physical health and mental well-being by engaging with each other in their local open spaces.
Over the last year, Freemoovement have been as busy as ever keeping communities active and connected through the incredible passion shown by our volunteers.
We are incredibly proud to have been able to expand our standard projects and activities as well as adding in new programmes in new locations, aimed at improving peoples physical health, mental wellbeing and community connectedness.
Our new morning running group and expansion of Free-play have been major sucess', offering more opportunities for people off all abilities to connect and get active.

The huge number of families that attended Free-play was far beyond our expectations. Throughout the 5 weeks of the summer holidays we had over 2200 people attend our sessions. Mind blowing!

WHY DONATE TO US?
Although all our activities are Free at source, ensuring every beneficiary has access to health improvement activities regardless of their level of disposable income, behind the scenes there are many costs involved in making all of these activities happen.
Insurances, volunteer training, marketing and advertising, Mail-chimp fees, website costs, equipment purchase and replacement, administration and project management costs all add up.
But you can help to keep this all going.

By supporting this Crowdfunding Campaign, you can help Pay Forward the Power of Positivity, which is what Freemoovement is all about.
Your donations will fund:
Having tailored, accessible, community-focused activities which improve physical health and mental wellbeing, while additionally providing volunteer training and opportunities is now more vital than ever.
VOLUNTEER TRAINING
With your support, we will train 30 volunteers who will engage and inspire their communities to get active. These volunteers will gain Nationally Recognised Qualifications such as:
- Active IQ Level 2 Health and Community Activators award.
- British Cycling Ride leaders award.
- Mental health First Aid.
- Basic First Aid and AED training.
- England Athletics - Leadership in Running Fitness courses.
Training community members and volunteers is crucial to up-skilling communities and individuals to build skills they can use to improve their professional and personal lives.

There has never been a more vital time to up skill and empower communities to take control of their health and support each other as the cost of living spirals, and people have less income to commit to personal health and wellbeing.
FIRST AID 4 MENTAL HEALTH
By reducing the stigma around mental health and empowering supportive communities, your donation will enable us to expand our training programme and make a bigger, more powerful impact on mental health and potentially save lives.

We are all becoming more aware that mental health is just as important as physical health - even Olympic athletes and Royalty are highlighting the issue - but how many of us know how to provide support, have healthy and reassuring conversations and signpost to suitable services when we encounter someone who may be suffering from mild to moderate conditions or in crisis.
Your donation could be the one that changes, and in some cases saves a life.
OUR IMPACT
More than just physical activity sessions, Freemoovement are the only community focused, health improvement organisation in the Southwest that train and up-skill volunteers to lead safe, effective, and enjoyable park-based fitness sessions, social bike rides, family holiday activity programmes and running groups which are accessible to all.
However, we do so much more than just provide health and fitness activities , and our incredible ripple effect of positivity washes up on the shore of many individuals and groups across Devon.
In essence:
To get a full understanding and an idea of the true scale of our achievements, we have links to our annual and project reports below. Additionally, more information can be found on our website.
We feel there are so many more people that could benefit from our project, and everyone should have the same opportunities to access safe, fun, and enjoyable health improvement sessions on their doorstep.
So, please donate what you can and help us Prioritise health through the Cost of Living Crisis.
Thank you.
