Aim
Funding for AKT, so every LGBTQIA youth has a safe place to land.
Did you know a staggering 24% of homeless people aged 16-24 identify as LGBTQIA+?
AKT remains the only national charity dedicated specifically to supporting young LGBTQIA people facing or experiencing homelessness. They offer tailored, inclusive support the mainstream services often fail to provide.
Flying Proud are launching fundraising activities to help fund AKT's incredible work in this space, running all of the way up to 25 July! If we hit our target, with match funding active, we can raise a massive £10,000.00 for this cause.
Your donation can help:
- Get emergency supplies to a young person on the streets
- Cover a night's stay in safe, warm accommodation
- Deliver expert caseworker support
- Provide everything they need to move into their new home
Together, we can ensure LGBTQIA+ young people aren’t left to navigate this alone - because every young person deserves safety, dignity, and a home to call their own.
