Fletching Bonfire night celebrations 2026

Aim

Please help Fletching Bonfire Society to raise the necessary funds to be able to stage our Bonfire Night Celebrations in September this year

Fletching Bonfire Society are a not for profit organisation based in the village of Fletching in East Sussex.

We are a Traditional Sussex bonfire society who's aim is to provide a free to attend bonfire night event and to preserve the traditions of Sussex Bonfire, our bonfire night celebrations include huge torchlite processions a giant bonfire and a spectacular pyromusical fireworks display .

The society is made up solely of volunteers and we have to fundraise to cover the costs of running our bonfire night celebrations each year , we have to cover the costs of everything we need to safely and successfully stage the event , from insurance, marshalls ,security, facilities, materials, bands , fireworks and more , all of this now costs in excess of £12,000 .

We run a large amount of fundraising events throughout the year but we cannot guarantee the success of all of these events and we have no control of the weather or other unforeseen things that could effect how well we do from these events , we have therefore set up this crowdfunder as a way to help generate an income that won't be effected by adverse conditions etc , it's a way for those who are unable to attend our fundraising events to still make a contribution to the society or for anyone who would just like to support us financially and help us to ensure we reach our target by September so that we can once again bring Traditional Sussex Bonfire night celebrations to the village and local community.

We will be extremely grateful for any donation you are able to make , no matter what value it is , every penny helps us to achieve our goal .
