Funds raised will be used to pay for campaign materials including Save Local Lomond posters, stationery, legal advice and support and other miscellaneous campaign costs. In the event that there is a surplus, funds will be spent on any further related legal proceedings, such as judicial review, and otherwise on local good causes.
Flamingo Land want to build a destructive mega-resort in Balloch, on the shores of Loch Lomond. Their plans would scar one of Scotland's best loved natural landscapes, and almost 150,000 people have already lodged their objections.
The proposals will be put to a vote on Monday 16th September. We have just a few weeks to show the strength of opposition to Flamingo Land's plans.
We're raising money to get 10,000 window posters out to the people of Balloch and neighbouring communities - a £25 donation will pay for 250 posters. We also need money to pay for our legal adviser's support ahead of and at the planning hearing.
Chip in what you can and help us say no to Flamingo Land. With your help, we can save Loch Lomond.

Legal Dispute
This project aims to raise funds to resolve a claim, or other type of dispute.
Neither Crowdfunder nor the Project Owner can guarantee the outcome of that dispute, or that it will be resolved at all.
Due to the uncertain nature of disputes, it is not possible for the Project Owner to be sure that the amount it raises will be enough to resolve the dispute or to see it through to its conclusion.
If the desired outcome of the dispute is achieved in the first instance, it may be subject to appeal and may be overturned.
