There's a lot going on right now: Political chaos, culture wars and cost of living crisis - suffering and uncertainty feels rife. Each day, the news cycle churns out a new dystopian distraction, pushing the climate crisis off the agenda. Amidst this madness, climate breakdown is accelerating. If we are to protect this one beautiful earth for future generations; It's time to organise and take action within our own communities.
That’s why, this year, we’re raising funds for Music Declares Emergency’s Hope Over Fear campaign.
Funds raised will be used to establish regional climate action hubs across the UK, providing resources, training and small grants to help local communities organise gigs, workshops, and regeneration projects. Your support will inspire climate action, culture and connection.

£50 - A Hope Over Fear tshirt, 10 entries to win 2 x adult tickets to Shambala 2026 and 1 entry to win a signed Hope Over Fear print by Anthony Burrill. 100% of your donations will go directly to Music Declares Emergency
Shambala Festival will cover all the costs of buying, transporting and flying the flags – as well as donating £1,000 to the campaign.

Music Declares Emergency has been harnessing the power of music to put the climate emergency on the front page of culture for six years. Their small team have created a community of support within music that encompasses all the major UK music organisations and businesses, over 4,000 recording artists and a host of important individuals and change makers within UK music culture. By working across the entire music ecosystem, with a presence at grass roots shows and major festivals they are shifting access to climate activism into the mainstream.
