Community Facility Repair and Improvement

Aim

We are looking to fix up our Community building as its been subjected to some neglect over the years.

We have recently formed a new committee at the Pontlottyn Boys and Girls Club based in Pontlottyn.   The building requires repair works from the neglect suffered over years to allow us to continue supplying the community with a building and services.   This is the last standing community building in the area and is a vital part of the community.  We aim to continue our volunteering services for the individuals of the village and surrounding areas along with providing educational aspects to children so so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved.  

We aim to use the money to:- 

- Fix roof issues 

- Fix a recent leak in our disabled toilet

- A refit of our current female and male toilets 

- Continuation of electrical and plastering jobs in the second part of the building

- New doors 

- Anything left over we would aim to upgrade the building to become economically sustainable such as timer lights, timer pumps, solar panels. 

We have added the following video to show you the damages that we are looking to repair (sorry I was unable to get onto the roof to show the extent of the damage there.
