Providing vital well-being support for young people across Liverpool through 1-2-1 welfare calls, engagement activities and food parcels.

FireFit Hub is Liverpool’s only Super Youth Zone, part of the charity Torus Foundation. A space where young people aged 6-21 years are inspired to explore new activities and succeed, through a range of sporting, digital and creative activities. Based in the heart of Toxteth, we engage over 1,700 members.
We are currently delivering vital support to young people directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
We know that young people are suffering and the impacts will be long-term; research shows an estimated 3 million young people are in need of help nationally. Mental health is a key factor, with issues including anxiety, loneliness, strained family relationships and domestic abuse.
Youth provision like FireFit Hub, provides a vital lifeline through trusted relationships with staff but lock-down means young people can no longer access this face-to-face support, and even when restrictions are lifted the impact will still be felt.
We have adapted our youth services during this crisis, to include 1-2-1 welfare calls, delivery of urgent food parcels to vulnerable households and online group interactive sessions to help improve both physical and mental well-being.
But we need your help to reach more isolated young people:
Be a part of the positive impact and increase the support available for young people during COVID-19 and beyond.
