A new short documentary, exploring Finn's amazing journey and how Finn's Law is protecting the police dogs now.
Have you heard the story of Police Dog Finn? In 2016, Finn was on duty with his Dad, PC Dave Wardell, and was stabbed while trying to apprehend a male with a knife. Finn was stabbed and left fighting for his life. Fortunately, down to the amazing team of vets, Finn was saved and now is living his best life. However, the male who stabbed Finn was only charged with criminal damage.

Police Dogs were never protected under the law until now. Down to Finn's incredible story, Finn's Law was passed in parliament, protecting Police Dogs from getting seriously injured in the line of duty. And it doesn't stop there, Dave and Finn are campaigning for #Finnslawpart2 for an increase in sentencing.
On 5th August 2019, The first prosecution under the new Finn's Law happened in Stoke-On-Trent. PC Karl Mander and Police Dog Audi tried to apprehend the drugged male and Audi was stabbed in the head. Luckily he survived and the male was charged under Finn's Law.

This new documentary will follow the journey of Finn and Finn's Law and how it's affecting the Police Dogs now. As well as having an inside look in how police dogs are trained from puppies to adult dogs.
