About Find
Jasmine Barnes is the one-woman band behind Find, based in Brighton. Find came about when she noticed that many wellness candles that are fully
natural seemed to be out of budget for a lot of people who wanted to either lead a more conscious lifestyle or were recommended aromatherapy for their mental health.
Over the last 4 years, Jasmine has used and studied essential oils for her own well-being and mental health and from this, she has crafted the perfect therapeutic blends. We all light a candle to relax, however, with the more affordable candles being made out of paraffin wax and containing synthetic “natural” fragrances, many of us are unaware of the level of toxins released when they are burning.
Find have created 100% natural, vegan, chemical-free candles, using only essential oil blends and soy wax, with no hidden synthetics. Ensuring the aromatherapy blends within the candle range have a positive therapeutic impact on your emotional well-being, whether you’re lighting your candle for meditation, restoration or relaxation.
Our Goal
Our goal is to create affordable aromatheraphy candles for the modern person. I’m hoping to bring a fresh take on aromatherapy selling my candles, to help wellness and mental health to those who may have not discovered the powers of essential oils yet.
How will your money be spent?
The first stage of my business plan involves building up my social media following, buying stock, and marketing FInd online through paid advertising. I’m also aiming to build contacts with local stores in Brighton and sell at markets too.
Our first goal to raise £1,500 will help us to:
- Buy stock
- Pay for advertising
- A further training course in aromatherapy, with Neals Yard Remedies
Our stretch goal to raise £2000 will help us to:
- Pay for props and a product shoot
- Invest in additional packaging to send with products
