Target reached!

We will scale up the project to an extended delivery period.

Aim

We will equip disadvantaged migrants with English, life skills and budgeting support to improve their financial wellbeing.

Express Tuition offers extended learning opportunities to disadvantaged children and ESOL, employability, and training sessions for their parents. We aim to ensure that all learners at our centre are being offered a real learning experience where they can be heard as an individual. Our main objective is to teach people the skills they need to reach their full potential and strengthen their confidence.

Primary beneficiaries of our organisation are vulnerable migrant people who come from challenging circumstances, low-income families, NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training), and learners who are struggling in traditional education.

With the very project, we will equip 60 disadvantaged migrant adults with basic digital skills for work and life, as well as help them access the online world through intensive training and consultancy support over 20 weeks. Our project will improve participants' computer and internet skills in an embedded way to English lessons to increase their chances to find meaningful employment opportunities, solve their immediate financial problems, and provide individual guidance in budgeting.
