We aim to provide a Professionally Filmed Video of our Last Ever Gig.
For nearly 40 years we’ve played our hearts out on stages across Europe and North America. More than a thousand gigs, countless festivals, and an estimated quarter of a million people who have seen us live. Of those, many have told us that seeing and hearing The Ukrainians is to experience a blast of energy and emotion that is not only memorable, but unique.
And yet… there is no proper visual record of it. Just the occasional clip from the crowd
So, on April 12th, at Leeds Brudenell Social Club, we’ll play the last show of our final tour. It's one of our favourite venues, in our home city, surrounded by familiar faces, marking the end of an incredible journey. If there was ever a moment to finally capture the true spirit of our live performance, this is it.
To do this properly, a specialist three‑camera crew will film the entire concert and edit it to the live audio, which will be professionally mixed from the multitrack sound recordings. The result will be a powerful, permanent record of our music, our history, and the fans who have supported us for four decades.
We want to make this film available as a download, and we will also produce DVDs for all those who like to have a physical keepsake.
