Fierce Beer Goes Green!

Why are we crowdfunding?

The main goal of this crowdfunder is to help grow Fierce Beer safely and sustainably and to do that we are looking for support from our amazing customers and supporters!

Becoming more environmentally responsible is something we have always been striving for and there are numerous ways for us to improve our current output.

We firmly believe that we can position Fierce Beer as one of the key UK breweries if we get this right. However, these projects all come with a price tag, and with a tight market landscape, we are looking to you to help us get there!

What is in it for you?

We are offering our supporters the option of tiered rewards that are split into three sections:

• BAR CREDIT 
• ONLINE CREDIT 
• SUBSCRIPTIONS

In the credit options, each supporter will get 1.5x times their pledge in credit to use in either FIERCE BARS or on our ONLINE SHOP. This credit will not be transferable between the two.

So for a £50 pledge, you'll receive £75 worth of credit, for £100 you'll receive £150, and so on!

We also have two SUBSCRIPTION OPTIONS. Each supporter will get a case of 12 beers delivered to their door each month from JUNE 2024 to MAY 2025. These are split into a core beer option or a new beer option.

All supporters will also be entitled to a 10% DISCOUNT FOR LIFE and will receive a Fierce Card!

If you want to purchase a reward as a gift for someone be sure to put their name and information so that the correct name appears on their Fierce Card!

All credit will become available at a later date one orders and details have been processed.

How are we going to 'Go Green'? 

Several key projects would make us more sustainable, and more efficient, slash our CO2 emissions, and also help position us to grow both locally and throughout the UK.  Being able to work on these projects should ensure we can produce the quality beer that Fierce fans expect and can be proud of, with greater access to them, and in a way that is better for our planet.

The major projects that we are looking to complete include:

• A CO2 recapture system. We use CO2 to purge tanks as well as to carbonate beer, and we currently buy in liquid CO2 to do this.  The brewing process however produces CO2 during fermentation – and we can buy equipment that harvests this produced CO2, and stores it in liquid form for us to use again. This would bring our production process closer to CO2 neutrality.
• A nitrogen generator, where we extract the N2 from the outside air around the brewery – saving CO2 miles, and energy expended by N2 bottle providers.
• A hydrogen boiler system. This will reduce our requirement to use fossil fuels to heat water, and to boil the wort during the brewing process.
• Solar panels. This would be the final step to ensure we are doing everything we possibly can to be responsible brewers and be best friends with our precious environment.
